Amaranth Pizza

Style: Wholesome • Gluten-light • Homemade Bake: 180°C • 30–35 mins

For the Base

  • 1 cup amaranth flour
  • 1 cup jowar flour
  • ¼ cup khapli atta
  • Salt, to taste
  • Chilli flakes, to taste
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Water, to knead into a soft dough
Knead the dough soft but not sticky for a better pizza base texture.

For the Sauce

  • Tomatoes
  • Onions
  • Garlic
  • Parsley
  • Chilli flakes
Roast all ingredients, blend until smooth, then sauté with basil, oregano, and salt.

To Bake

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Roll out the dough and place on a baking tray.
  3. Spread the prepared sauce evenly on the base.
  4. Top with veggies and cheese of your choice.
  5. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until the crust is cooked and cheese melts.
